took the midnight train to Praha...

20 hours later, I've arrived safe and sound. Julien is picking me up from the station in 30 minutes so I've got a bit of time to kill before I venture out into this new city that I hope to be living in for the next portion of my travels.

Rome was a fantastic end to my vacation. Annie and I did it proper American style, with a Thanksgiving to remember. The only traditional dish was the mashed potatoes but we feasted, and it was good. The wine and beer were also well-represented and we were able to share the magic of this holiday with a few Aussies and Brits. Excellent!

I saw the sights: Trevi fountain dedicated to my mom, the Colleseum, Sistine Chapel, St. Peters Basilica, and a bunch of other stuff. Florence was beautiful and the David is still standing in case any one is wondering.

Unfortunately, vacation is over and now I must commence the arduous process of job-searching and appartment searching. I will report my progress and should be getting a number soon, it's been a while and I think the excitement will overwhelm me until I recieve no phone calls. Annie has assured me the occasional text but I expect more so go out and purchase that international phone card so you can call me.

Love to you all!
