headed for Galway...
Step 1: Go get a map.
Step 2: Find the Inoshowen Peninsula at the most northern part of Ireland.
Step 3: Drive there on a beautiful day.
Step 4: Spend the night in Derry, drinking Guinness and listening to traditional Gaelic bands.
We lucked out on monday because it was a fabulous day to drive to Malin head (refer to your map). Derry is a great city, and I have a new apreciation for the U2 song Sunday, Bloody Sunday and Irish history in general. I'm on my own for a few days until I stay at Johnny's house in Belfast. I'm in Sligo right now but the city is rather ugly so I'm not going to spend the night. I'm taking the 3pm to Galway of which I've heard good things. I like all this travelling, I have to say, I am seeing more of Ireland in 2 weeks than I saw of England and Switzerland in 2 months. Damn shame I can't make money doing this. Well, I'm off. Adios.
